Description
~ The Meaning Behind the Painting~In a world of deception, cruelty, hunger and greed there lives innocence, and the evil thrives to corrupt it. Isolating her from the world's wickedness was not enough. She was curious to see what was beyong the world that she lingers in. She breaks away to see the real world, for what it is...is ignorance bliss or is knowledge power?
~ Inspiration~
Adam and Eve, when Eve was tempted and curious to know the meaning of good and evil. She wanted the knowledge of God.
This work took me a month to do. I would go back and forth on it every once a week or so. I left it sitting untouched for several weeks, until last week, I've been going mad scientist on it! Working till 4 in the morning. It went through SEVERAL stages, which I will upload and link later, but I'm happy with what it became now. Believe it or not, it took me 30 minutes to work on the water breaking out, but 2 days to draw the lines on her body. I only used ref for her face, the rest ( including the lighting) was thought up by yours truly ^_^
~ Tools~
Photoshop 7.0 and Painter IX
Check out the FULL VERSION ^_^ It was cropped on this one!

only thing I can find is that the eye/ eyebrow look a bit flat, but that's just minor.
Love the idea and how it's executed.
very well done

What I like is the color palette that you used and how you worked on the background. Also the detailed texture on her body looks great
Very nice
